Our hospital clowns are part of the medical treatment team. They stand by the patient's side, whether they are here for just a couple of days or for several months. They acompany seriously ill children through ups and downs. The clown's work is funded 100% through donations.
About us
The Children’s Hospital Zurich is the largest pediatric university hospital in Switzerland and one of the leading pediatric medical centers in Europe. Approximately 2,500 employees are dedicated to the care of the more than 100,000 children, teens, and young adults.
Founded in 1874, and still operating under the patronage of the privately organized Eleonore Foundation, the Children’s Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality medical care. International collaborations are standard practice and key to achieving this goal.
