Ein Portrait von der Forscherin Patricia Raiser

Patricia
Raiser, MD PhD

Postdoctoral Researcher
Onkologie

During her MD-PhD in the University Hospital in Lausanne, Patricia’s research focused on the role of RNA-binding proteins in Ewing sarcoma. Following her residency in pediatrics, including rotations in pediatric oncology, Patricia is now pursuing her interests in epigenetic regulation of pediatric cancers as a postdoctoral researcher. Her current work is at the translational intersection of metabolism and epigenetics, bridging the gap from bench to patient care. Based on novel biomarkers identified by advanced tumor profiling, Patricia’s goal is to introduce new precision oncology drugs within early phase I/II studies. This is in close collaboration with Institut Gustave Roussy, Paris and their new precision drug development program (AcSé-ESMART).
