Raydene is a medical student at the University of Zürich. She has profound interest in understanding the reprogramming of metabolism in pediatric cancers. She is currently investigating lipid metabolism using cell culture systems, drug treatments and CRISPR editing. Metabolic phenotyping is performed by metabolomics and lipidomic analysis. The goal of her project is to identify cancer specific vulnerability in de novo lipid biosynthesis as a possible novel therapy.
