Field of Research: Genomic and Epigenomic Cancer Research. Erin is a Ph.D. Candidate in Cancer Biology at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and am conducting my dissertation research in Prof. Javad Nazarian’s lab in the Center for Genetic Medicine Research at Children’s National Hospital. Since June 2020, I have been working as a visiting scientist in the Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) Research Center of the University Children’s Hospital Zurich. My research projects are focused on identifying and characterizing novel genetic alterations in DMGs, and investigating epigenetic differences between DMG molecular subtypes.
