Academic background: Viola holds a master's degree in Biotechnology for Personalized Medicine from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Sapienza University of Rome. She joined the lab in October 2025.

Research interests: Medulloblastoma cells interact with cells of the cerebellar microenvironment and alter their behavior, but the impact of these changes on tumor growth and invasion is poorly understood. Viola investigates the molecular mechanisms by which tumor cells control host tissue functions and explores strategies to interfere with this tissue modulation.
