Ciraulo, PhD

Academic background: Bernard holds a master's degree in physics from the University of Palermo, Italy, and a Ph.D. in nanophotonics from ETH Zürich.

Research interests: Bernard uses computational image analysis and machine learning to quantify cell morphodynamics and characterize compound effects on cell behavior in high throughput. He is also developing an optical setup for label-free cell imaging to explore structure–function relationships in tumor cells under treatment.
