Shaping the future of pediatric medicine

The University Children’s Hospital is an independent institution with a 150-year history of successful pediatric research and an official teaching and research mandate from the University of Zurich. As the largest academic pediatric hospital in Switzerland, we are working tirelessly to translate today’s pediatric research into tomorrow’s standard of care.

The "Pediatric Rehab Research Group" is the research group of the rehabilitation centre in Affoltern am Albis.

Thanks to its multi-professional orientation, the research group is able to investigate a large part of the spectrum of pediatric rehabilitation. It contributes to the overall goal of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, which promotes and supports children and adolescents in their independence in daily life. Our rehabilitation programs are continuously developed by the research projects of the REHAB Research Group with the focus on "robot- and computer-aided movement therapies in a virtual environment". Projects from the REHAB Research Group are directly translated into rehabiltation care.
