Research & Teaching

The University Children’s Hospital Zurich is a University Medical Centre for Children, which draws on a rich academic tradition; it has been commissioned by the Department of Health of the Canton of Zurich to carry out research and teaching in the fields of paediatrics and paediatric surgery as well as related disciplines.

An essential part of teaching consists of the training and further education of physicians. Key aspects of our renowned research can be found in the listed projects (see list on the left). Our research and expertise has a direct impact on the well being of our patients.
