EquipmentWe are working with a General Electric Signa HDx 1.5T MR Scanner and a General Signa EXCITE 3.0T MR Scanner. For simultaneously recording electrophysiological signals and evoked potentials during functional imaging in fMRI environments we are using 64-channel EEG recorders (BrainAmp MR). The acoustic, visual, and cognitive stimulation tasks are generated on Microsoft Windows based workstations and are presented via a video-projection system (InFocus 720) or via MRI-compatible video goggles combined with an audio-system (Resonance Technology, Inc.) and a subject response device (Cedrus Lumina). Andvanced image analysis techniques are employed using SPM2 and scripts based on Matlab.
