In 2006 a group of Moyamyoa parents and children got together to discuss the need of a self help group. It is important to reactivate this group.

Moyamoya Childrens Testimonials/stories

After managing Moyamoya children for some years now, upon seeing them again after several years I asked it they would like to write something about their experience before and after surgery especially now that they could understand better what happened when they were still little children, ask questions and be advocated for the disease for others. They were not only willing to do so but also were more than happy to help any child, parent in answering questions in the future if need be.
